Tourism For All
Visitors with physical challenges due to disability, health, or senior age, will find Thailand to be a destination that is most welcoming. Mobility transport, disability friendly rooms, accessible venues, are just some of the support services that cater to the needs and comfort for special travelers. We aim to make tourism a true enabler for quality of life for those often overlooked.
Accessible Venues
Tourist places in Thailand have been progressively retrofitting public infrastructure to enable access for all visitors. Ramps, elevators, handrails, and common pathways for walking and wheelchairs, are becoming increasingly common. Ongoing efforts are being made to provide information in other formats such as Braille.
Mobility Transport
Innovations in mobility technology is impacting the mainstream transportation industry as well. Wheelchair accessible vans, electric scooters, and other adaptive vehicles are becoming more prevalent. Specifying mobility requirements in advance will contribute to a more seamless travel experience, and enable guests to move around conveniently and comfortably.
Inclusive Experiences
There is a growing recognition of the need to create multisensory experiences. Tactile objects, textured surfaces, and interactive exhibits can enable those with visual and other impairments, to connect and comprehend the artistic richness of Thailand. Trained guides will seek to make trips meaningful by helping guests to engage and appreciate their surroundings.
