The Bangkok Metropolitan Region (BMR), is the political, economic, and cultural heart of Thailand. Commonly known as Greater Bangkok, it covers the areas that make up Bangkok City, as well as the provinces of Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan, Samut Sakhon, and Nakhon Pathom.
