RTAF Aviation Park

The park is an open-air museum showcasing the history, achievements, and technological evolution of Thailand’s air power. It features a wide array of retired aircraft, including fighter jets, helicopters, transport planes, and training aircraft, many of which were actively used in the defense of Thai airspace and in humanitarian missions. Exhibits include informational panels detailing each aircraft’s operational history, technical specifications, and key persons who played significant roles within the Royal Thai Air Force. The Aviation Park provides visitors with a hands-on understanding of aviation development, flight training, and the strategic importance of air mobility in Thailand’s national defense, while celebrating the Air Force’s contributions to both military and civilian operations.

RTAF Museum

This museum offers a comprehensive look at Thailand’s aviation history, from the early days of military flight to modern aerospace technology. Exhibits include vintage aircraft, training planes, helicopters, and experimental models that trace the development of both the Royal Thai Air Force and civil aviation in Thailand. In addition to full aircraft displays, the museum features engine sections, flight simulators, navigation equipment, uniforms, medals, and archival photographs documenting key missions, air operations, and technological innovations. Special attention is given to the RTAF’s role in national defense, disaster relief, and international peacekeeping, illustrating how aviation has been integral not only to military capability but also to Thailand’s broader strategic and humanitarian efforts.

The National Memorial

Dedicated to honoring Thai military personnel who have sacrificed their lives in service to the nation, it commemorates soldiers from all branches of the armed forces. It also serves as a central site for remembrance, particularly during national military holidays and memorial ceremonies.. The memorial features sculptural representations of soldiers in action, symbolic elements reflecting courage and sacrifice, and plaques listing notable conflicts and campaigns in which Thailand’s armed forces have participated. Beyond its commemorative role, the National Memorial also functions as an educational space, helping visitors understand the history of Thailand’s military engagements and the enduring contributions of its service members to national security and unity.
